Yah did that already. The dealer was shady and played it off telling me to talk to the rental place about it. All they had was a malibu so I got moved from an aveo to a malibu whoooopeeee! Its more of a customer satisfaction thing, basically I know under the contract i signed they did their part, they just did the minimum. And in the end their goal is customer satisfaction, and now they have an unsatisfied customer.
So are they gonna be cool and work with me a little or tell me to pound sand? Being my first new vehicle and first GM this will influence me on whether i want another GM or not. I'm trying to milk something out of them I dont deserve just for the heck of it but bottomline I've owned the car three months and they have had it for 1 of those months I deserve something besides a rental Malibu.

yah i know "the" noise is normal, but "mine" wasnt. Even if it was the paper work from the dealership said a grinding noise was present and that metal shavings were also present. Whether this was true or not ill never know but i got a new blower, it sounds a lot better, and now i am happy.

If my M62 failed I would say **** it and toss on a nice GT28/30R.
When parts breaks it's a great excuse to buy something better. I am also loving the STS rear turbo IDEA!

my noise started the day i put the 2.8 pulley on.. its not bad and only sounds bad at idle. if you give it 100 rpms more than idle then it goes away.. if i felt the need to i would just up my idle using HP Tuners...

weird noise when i make a turn in a parking lot
The new blower doesnt come in until Monday. I am just wondering if Eaton has done anything to correct the problem or if the bearings are going to give out again. In other words am i going to get an updated M62 cuz I would feel alot more comfortable if I did.
So I am in the rental until they get the new blower in and installed.

Just got the call from the dealer. Bad bearings in the supercharger which i assume is causing the screws to hit eac other the new one will be in monday hopefully they fixed the bearing problem so it does not happen again. What i'm kinda pissed off about is i dont know how long its been doing it so I dont know how long I have been sending metal shavings through my engine and what harm it has already done
So, I'm back in the rental.......AGAIN

I had bad bearings in my supercharger too. It cost me $350 to replace it because it was not warrantied since I have Intense Stage 4.
Well everytime when i pull out of a parking spot and turn to leave it always make this loud noise when i turn the wheel. Sometimes it say low traction...but when i first got it for a couple of months it never did it..Do you think it just does because its the Winter time?

i think all the cobalts have a problem. my service person where i bought was a too dumb to be a service writer, but...
i can recreate that noise on demand.
slower than idle speed in first gear. drive forware doing a full wheel turn serpentine movement back and forth, i get a clunk from the right wheel area.
result, they say if it still drives well, nothing to worry about, "but sir, you have a modified suspension, I'm sure that is what would be causing it..."
i have a HR springs lowering kit in. i took it there for an alignment and to check the noise. the noise was there before the springs went in, and i had 800 kms on the car.
I am taking out the springs, and going to Devon, where they treat me like I'm not a mentally challenged adult. retarded, for all you ppl that say i cant say it.
