Driver side vibration?
Ok so I took my summer wheels off the other day and put my stock rims and tires back on. Now there seems to be a vibration when I'm braking but it feels like its only coming from the driver side. It seems worse when I'm going like 40mph down to a stop and I'm not slamming on the brakes. Just hoping this isn't a warped rotor cuz my rotors are like 6 months old. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks

Are your lugnuts loose or do you have any broken studs? Did you torque your lugs down right? If you torque them to tight or not in the right pattern it could warp your rotor.

There not loose or anything but tomorrow I'm going to take the tires off and put them back on just to checkand see if it helps. I don't have a torque wrench so I did them by hand. But after doing that if there's still a vibration would you say its a warped rotor?

Yeah with your car being so new and probably low mileage I dont see it being a wheel bearing or tie rod or anything. So i'm gonna guess the rotor got warped or your lugnuts aren't torqued down right. I guess it also could be a unbalanced wheel but that would be my last guess from how you describe the noise/action.

Hello Tyler,
Looks like you’re already getting some great feedback from the forum. If GM Customer Assistance can help you resolve this vibration concern (we’d work with you and your servicing dealership towards a resolution), please private message me with your name, VIN, and phone number and we’ll get that started.
