Drivers side heated seat is always on
Hello all,
This is my first post and I want to say thanks for the awesome community.
I searched high and low for this and couldn't find any threads about it. I bought my car, an '07 ss/sc, in FL and drove it home to CT. I bought the car from a friend and never thought to check the seats before I got back to this barren, frozen, high taxed state.
Last night I was working on a spoiler swap and running thru little things while I was waiting for some paint to dry and I found that there was no fuse in place. I popped 20 in and sure enough the drivers side heated right up. When I drove home I noticed the second I started the car it got hot, and it didn't matter what position I had the switch in it was just always on. The passenger side also does not work at all. The lights in the switches work fine though.
I checked under the seats and couldn't see any pinched wires but I will have to inspect closer. Has anyone ever heard of this or know where I should start?
