Question Ebrake problem...

Ok guys so I took my car to get inspected today & it wont pass because the ebrake is not holding like it should. I personally never have any problems with it but they state the right rear caliper needs to be replaced. what does something like that cost & is it fairly easy to do or is it worth paying the labor rate at the dealer???

The problem is my inspection runs up today so I REALLY need to get it resolved today.

They also tell me I need a new passenger front tire. where is the cheapest place to get a new tire & quick!!

wow, we just have emissions lol, that sucks... tirerack.com or walmart? uhh "you need a new passenger tire, because uhh its a safety hazard because uhhh, you might spin out of control with just this uhhh tire and do a spin flip causing uhhh vehicle collision. uhh, and I noticed when my fat ass or my other associate uhhh sit in it and he tried pushing it, uhh and I wasn't in gear...uhhh it slid a little. uhh, ".... what a bunch of retards, did I sum up your visit?

Just tighten up your ebrake cable by the emergency brake handle, underneath the plastic panel. There's a DIY on here about it. It might just be your cables aren't straightened up. Either way, if you tighten the cables, you should be able to pass inspection, then you can worry about replacing the caliper later.
