your a dumb **** lair your dad didnt design **** about these filters saab did and stole the tech from volvo so you stay on topic take your filter out and start you car it doesnt go thru the outside you dumb **** or it would never trap all the crap guess your dad owns k&n too and you drive a cheap cobalt!! shut the f up you go to school like i did and open your own shop and start making a living off it come talk to me until then it aint the way it is my wifes volvo does the same thing as does benz diesels and your a stupid ass as is your father you believe that
Ok your arguing with the wrong person here my dad is one of the engineers for these filter the twist is from pressure spike on cold startups. And the reason you lost your engine with out the filter is because that little plug on the end of the filter is what keep the oil from going striaght back to the oil pan without going to the top half of the motor.

so you guys believe this ******* if you want ask him how many engines he has overhauled and run. dad designed the filter haha so he worked with Mercedes-Benz on this did he? because they did this 15 years ago guess his dad designed it 15 years ago before any American car company even had this

Well I ran some seafoam through the oil for about 150 miles and change the oil and filter and the noise went away. I think it was a combination of the engine being dirty and the old design Ac Delco filter I had in it.
