esc help
I was picking up a buddy the other day and as I was pulling out of the driveway the car shuddered for about 2 or 3 seconds. Then it felt like something released the shuddering stopped and SERVICE ESC came on in my DIC. Since then the SERVICE ESC is always present. When I got home I did some research and found that common problems with the ESC can be low brake fluid or bad wheel speed sensor in the hub. I checked my brake fluid first, not the issue, its at the max fill line. The other I haven't checked for two reasons, first I don't know how to and second I don't see how it would make the vehicle shudder like it did. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

As this light indicates that your electronic stability control needs to be serviced, I would recommend visiting a dealership for further diagnosis. What year is your vehicle?

Let the dealer diagnose it, there are hundreds of possible service ESC causes.
It sounded like you might have had a misfire, not enough to turn the SES on but enough for the PCM to disable your ESC system as it will not be able to function properly with a misfiring engine.
