fuel filter questions

What is the easiest way to get the old fuel filter off? I don't have the quick disconnect tool so how else can i get it off?

Find a plastic pen cut it about two inches long then cut it down the centre ...don't forget to remove the ink stick first you might have to have three pieces if the pen is small ..just do it again with the same pen

You have a pen right not a bick like a blue coloured pen on the outside the smooth ones round one....take the tips off take out the ink stick cut the pen in half like two inches then that piece cut in half long ways. Tada quick release tool lol.

Go buy a quick disconnect tool honestly. If the fuel filter is original it's still the biggest pain in the ass even with the tool

I hope it's not the original. I'm at 96k lol. And I looked at autozone and couldn't find one.

Mine was original when I changed it at like 85k. You could try napa, advanced or harbor freight, one of them will have it

Buy the tool.

Use NAPA Gold filter.

It's either 5/16 or 3/8.

On the intake tube inside the driver side fender well. I can't remember if you can remove it by pulling the headlight or not. Probably best to put a new air filter in while you're at it. So plan on pulling the tire and then removing the wheel well liner to get at the filter housing.

Sounds good. Moving to Orlando in june and trying to get the car in as close to perfect condition as possible. Hopefully these fixes will,solve the a/f issue I've been having every since I dropped the new motor in.
