fuel line replacement, then the fun begins
came out to a large puddle of gas under my car last week - both fuel line and evap system line had rusted through, and were giving my exhaust a nice little bath.
Prior to removing lines, pulled fuel pump relay and ran engine dry to get most of the remaining gas out.
$300, 4 work hours, and about 20 new (to me) expressions combining all of the 7 words you cant say on tv, the moment of truth arrived. Reinstalled fuel pump relay, and got in to start it.
Turn the key, and crank. no start. Keep trying, same deal.
All told, I've probably cranked it a total of almost a minute, and still same deal. Seems like it isn't getting any fuel.
Is there a purge valve to let air out of the line, or do I really just have to keep cranking until it finally starts?

i'm an idiot - relay works best when the four prongs are in the four prongs assigned to the fuel pump relay - i had two in the fuel pump, two in the blank slot behind the fuel pump spot.

Lol I've done that before with the relay, glad you got it figured out.
I just did the line replacement on a base sedan, really not that bad at all. The new line comes in the biggest box I've ever gotten parts in.
