Full Throttle Squealing Noise
I've got a 2006 Cobalt LT with the 2.2 ecotech engine, and I've noticed that under full or even half throttle at 4000 RPM or above, there is a squealing noise coming from the engine. I haven't put any modifications on the car except a subwoofer. Whats strange is under normal driving I never hear it, I can give it full throttle and it sounds fine up until around 4000 rpm then above that the squealing starts until I let off or it changes gears. Even in when the car is parked and I rev it up, it still squeals. Its not really loud, but you can defiantly hear it over the roar of the engine. Does this indicate a problem with a belt or what could it be?
57000ish miles
Automatic Gearbox
Had the car for over a year and zero problems.
