Mine did that for a little and then I got a re-flash and it stoped. I think once you put some miles on the car it stops. Also the cold start re-flash helps with this issue.....

it dosn't do it all the time, once in a while, mostly if i am creeping the car then put it into nuetral then the ideling issue starts then i just lightly give it gas and it seems to stop for the time being, hopefully after 1000km it will be ok, how did you drive your car when you first got it?

I would not accept delivery of a car with a problem. Then they tell you they cant fix it, I would return that car in a hurry.

I have the issue pretty bad to the point where it stalls if I dont get on the gas real quick. I'm having it reflashed next week.

I have the same issue with mine, and mileage doesn't seem to make too much of a difference as I'm rapidly approaching 5,000 miles on the odometer. Looks like it's time to contact my dealer about a possible reflash.

I would suggest taking it to another dealer to get a second opinion on that. There certainly is a service bulletin on the idle issue.

Mine's been doing that a couple of times now, and I'm at abour 2300 miles. With that, only hitting 10.5 lbs of boost, and the ABS brake coming on the other day, I've decided to make an apointment tomorrow. The lady said it should all be fixed in about an hour.

What you need to do is to keep calling detroit, to keep them up to date on your situation and perhaps gain any available new information about this common issue that the stealership can't seem to get a handle on.
With some people recieving a reflash and this cures the issue and others still fighting the stealer on a resolution, someone has dropped the ball.
What an embarassment for this hot new product on GM's end of the deal.

Let me ask you this? IS the problem something that the dealer has replicated? If so they need to freaking fix it, saying they don't have a fix is unacceptable and it's time to call GM corp. Having a rough idle can be dangerous, especially when you have to pull into traffic or start up on a hill ect....

exactly, i just took it out for lunch, its not as bad as yesterday only because when i do notice the drop in rpm's i give it a lil and it gets back to normal, i have made a call to the service center and this is being investigated, like i said earlier, the lady i talked to will be contacting technical support to see what they say and what the proper fix for these cars are, if they are any, or being worked on, i also have to call the dealership in a week to see waht they say because the head mechanic told me alot of people around my area with SS's are bitchin aswell with no response yet from GM.

Be VERY CAREFULL with your car right now. I had the same ABS light come on for about 30 minutes on the highway a couple months back, then a week later my abs system failed under hard braking, causing my car to skid and crash into a dirt mound. $3800 in damage from that.
Then GM lied about it and said there was never anything wrong with your brakes.

What you should do is take your car into and empty parking lot or straight stretch of road where you cannot hit anything. Then get up to about 35 mph and mash your brakes as hard as possible to see if your ABS will kick in and modulate and control the skid. If not, then you have a problem and should demand to have it fixed and I'm going to go after GM for covering up the problem, so let me know how the test goes if you should try it.

P.S. don't crash your car if you should go into a skid WIDE OPEN AREA is key to this test

usually it will dip below a grand and the car feels like its gonna stall, then it bounces back up to like 1 or 2 grand, maybe a bit more.

BullDog71ss-GM has a "black box" installed in your vehicle which should have recorded the series of events up to your incident.
If you feel you are correct and as a matter of principle I wouldn't let that go!
