googly gauges?
Hey does anyone know how to set the gauges back to the right Rpm, MPH and gas? I changed the lights on my gauges a while back and I could never get them to be right. The speed is off by like 10-15 Mph, Rpm is off by like 1000, and the Gas is full when the needle is on half a tank and then empty is all the way around to full. Just some info- 06 2.4 auto.

Hmmmm, did replacing the lights involve soldering? If so, you may have created a short somewhere.
I would start by trying the Cobalt version of CTRL ALT DEL - unhook the battery, wait 10 minutes, hook back up and test.
If that does not do the trick, unhook the battery, remove the cluster, check for any stray solder / loose connections. Fix any problems you find, reinstall and reconnect the battery, test.
And if you didn't disconnect the battery when you pulled the cluster first time, you may have shorted something out, maybe check the fuses as well - might want to do that before you pull the cluster again

Here is a link to the instructions on how to do this properly. The part to reinstall is at the bottom:

Sounds like when you took off the needles you put them on wrong. You will have to take the gauges apart again and take the needles off. MAKE SURE YOUR GAS TANK IS FULL. Then reattach the wire onto the back of the gauge pod with the needles off. Then turn your key to the "on" position so that the radio and lights are on. MAKE SURE to put the RPM and MPH needle on zero, and then put your gas needle back at the full position. Once you have done this turn the key off and remove the gauge pod and put the gauge pod back together. You should be good to go now!
