Hahn Exhaust Tip Hanging Low
New Pic's
After installing my new Hahn cat-back exhaust I saw that the muffler tip was hanging a bit low. I tried to move things around to get it to sit right but with no luck. But I did get it center for the most part. I replaced the stock hanger with Torque Solution Exhaust Mount Kit 05-10 Cobalt from MP and I think that maybe the issue here. Not sure that it matters but I also have a CIA high flow down pipe as well.
UPDATE:
After emailing Hahn over and over (really long wait between emails) they said they had no idea why I was having this issue and said that they have never had any problems with the fit of this exhaust (BS!). Hahn said that the only way they could help me is if I would send them the muffler to see what the issue is. Which would leave me without my daily driver...
I had Monroe take a look at the exhaust on a lift and they are saying the exhaust does not fit right. They said there looks to be a problem with the angle that the muffler flange is welded in. The only way that they could fit it would be by them heating the whole pipe and bending it up, which would make the pipe weaker in that area.
I am going to try and call Hahn on Monday and talk to them to see if they will send me a new exhaust to correct this issue with how this one fits.
Here are the pic's.

Take the muffler off.
Use mapp gas to heat up the hangers boxed in green and bend them down to raise the muffler as high as you want. You probably don't need to heat them, but they will bend much easier and smoother to get it perfect.
And on a second note, Hahn must have revised their exhaust because my hangers don't cross. They are L shaped on each side.

I had fitment issues with my mpx catted dp and catback. Had to heat up my dp with my torch and pull down like crazy. Also my muffler goes a little left so when I get time I'm going to heat up the hangars and fix that as well. Love the noise though.

Hahn has given me a few ways to fix the issue:
OK. Our return/warranty policy accommodates two different ways to replace such a part:
"1. You send it to us. When it arrives, we’ll inspect it for warrantable failure. Should it require replacement, we’ll send you a new one at no charge."
"2. We immediately ship a replacement. In this instance, you’d pay for the replacement, and then a refund will be issued when the defective one returns and is inspected and verified for warranty replacement. It is important for you to bear in mind that if the part you send does not qualify for warranty replacement, no refund will be issued, and we’ll ship the part back to you at your cost."
"In either case, should the part be a warranty replacement failure, we will cover related shipping costs, and provide you a shipping label to return the defective piece. "
"Please let us know what option you will choose. For the most effective documentation, this return process will be tracked via email only."
Thank you,
Bill Hahn Jr.
And just today I got a message from another member saying he has the newer exhaust system and is having fitment issues. It may seem like Hahn is having problems with there perfect fitting exhaust systems...

I said this back
So if i do the 2nd one you are saying if you don't see anything wrong with it I get stuck with 2 of your exhaust systems? I can have a Chevy dealer and Monroe Muffler write a statement saying that the exhaust does not fit correctly. And I don't think I should have to pay for a new exhaust, I think one should be shipped to me free of charge with box and return postage. I payed over $500 for this exhaust and don't just have $500 to pay for a new one and I can not be without a car to get to work.
Thanks

If it was just as easy as bending it I would have done it asshat.
