Hard Start After Sitting
Hey guys, got a quick question for you.
When my car sits for a few hours, and I go to start it up, if I just try to turn it on, it doesn't work unless I keep the key turned for 4-5 seconds. In my diagnostic process, I've noticed that if I turn the key to on, but don't crank it, and let it sit for 3-4 seconds and then crank, it works fine.
I'm waiting to get a fuel pressure test kit (the one that Autozone lent me had a hole in the hose...), but from the test I did manage to do, I know it has proper fuel pressure while running.
Since the car starts fine if I let it sit in the on position for a few seconds before cranking, this leads me to believe it's not the electrical system. But does anyone know what it might be?
