Heat exchanger problem??

I recently put a ZZP heat exchanger on my SS/SC and everytime I turn off the car I get a little coolant that comes out of the filler hose tube. Is this normal? I do not have option B but I was told that I could take the hose from the filler tube and run it to another coolant bottle or could I T it into the factory coolant tank??
