Heat went out, need advice

Today I started her up and after letting her warm up for a few minutes ice cold air was still blowing out. What should I look for? It's 10 degrees out and I'm dying. When it comes to my car I can make her fast, but I am no mechanic.

Wouldn't the blower motor stop if the fuse was blown? Or are they different circuits

What was the coolant temp on the dash? I had a bad thermostat and the car took forever to warm up and only got to 120-130 while driving.

185 is low, should be running 195-200. Im having the same prob except mine is hardly getting over 170 unless i drive the car for like a hour then it finnaly gets up to 190 and the heat starts working. check fuses first though. sometimes they blow and the doors in the system wont move.

your coolant temp is fine. i would check fuses. check your cabin air filter sounds dumb but mine wasnt blowing at full and it was dirty. is it making a ticking noise at all? that usually meens the controller or whatever's under the dash. change thermostat its a easy and cheap fix

My blower was ticking a few days ago, now it isn't. But the blower is the only thing that seems to be working

It's not just luke warm air, it's ice cold. Warmer in my car with the air off

95% of the stupid **** that went on with my car was related to a fuse going. Hopefully it's something dumb like that. Good luck

Just checked both climate control fuses, they're fine. Now what? I heard there's a valve thing that switches the air flow from the condenser to heater core, where's this bad boy at? I think it might be stuck. Either that or a heater core

It should stay in the last position it was in. So if you never moved it to cold it should still blow through the heater core.

I would touch/grab the inlet and outlet of the heater core and see if they are both warm, under the hood.

It was set in the cold position last, no idea why. That's why I'm thinking it might be stuck

Sorry to say but I think mixer doors are super labor intensive. Not entirely sure though.

Is there a way to tell of the big black 30amp relay is blown? My girlfriends dad is a mechanic so I'm set there but if I can fix this myself I'd feel better about it

Pull another 30 amp relay and switch it with it and see if that solves the problem
