Heater/A/C Blower Motor Squeels
I just bought an 06 SS/SC with only 33,000km on it. Never really noticed during the test drive but on settings 1 and 2 for my heater/a/c blower motor squeels and it drives me nuts. When it's cold in the morning it's much worse even at setting 4 but goes away after about 5 seconds. Anyone else have this problem? Do i need to replace the fan motor? Hard to take out? Any advice would be great.

you need to replace the blower motor. its a bitch to replace the first time. it has to be cut out, and the new one comes with a bracket that bolts in, for easy replacement the next time. If its already been replaced, then its not a big job at all. take it back where you bought it and complain. they may fix it for you.
