I'm mechanically inclined.. Is the axle shaft replaced when u replace the axle/cv boot? I was thinking about just changing it to be on the safe side.

If u replace the acmxel it'll come with the shaft, boot, ***** (bearings) together already, if u jUst want to,do the boot u can but that is not ure issue its the ***** (jearings) inside the boot u prob have a lot of play. Or the wheel bearing....
