Help, my car won't reset O2 and Evap after throwing code & won't pass emissions

Help, my car won't reset O2 and Evap after throwing code & won't pass emissions. My car has been driven 1,500 - 2,000 miles since I cleared the code. My car is tuned and the tuner has since deleted all of the emissions related lights but it didn't help.

Please help.

I think the tc takes forever to set the evap and or o2. There is certain criteria you need to meet for it to run the test, it's been posted in here before ill try and find it later.

Not sure what codes you were throwing but check out this thread. Also I would recommend not clearing codes and just driving it because you are just starting from scratch every time you do. It took me 2 weeks in my lsj to get the Evap to set. OBD II Readines Monitor "trick"? - HP Tuners Bulletin Board

simply erasing codes will not help passing emissions. any kind of info regarding exhaust gasses coming out the tail pipe to help? CO, Co2, HC, o2 and NoX being the ones concerned. You are probably rich being tuned. But from the info you gave, nobody can say "this is your problem.''

Yea I haven't thrown a code in months. I got a CEL, checked it, cleared it, and it never presented itself again. Then I drove it for roughly 1,000 miles and my mechanic is telling me my 02 and Evap aren't reset.

It's not like i'm throwing codes every day and deleting them trying to get my car to pass emissions.

Thank you for the link, I'll see if my tuner can help me since I wouldn't know how to do any of that.

some systems will not check without the other, im not sure if eva and o2 are one of them. is it your Catalyst Monitor that will not go ready? what are you running for a cat? do you haev the rear O2 turned off through HPT because you are catless or are running a High-flow?

Well I had the same problem, but it only took my evap system 4 days to be "ready". You made sure all your fuses are ok and your coolant and everythings good?? Little things could cause your computer to not set it.
