Help no start

Hey guys having an issue. Everything was fine until I came out of work the other day. Had no start no crank starter is just clicking. Tried boosting it same thing, bumped it drove it to my parents pulled the starter off and tested it and it engaged and spun put everything back together and same issue. Had code p0365. Any ideas?

Check the crank position sensor. Either bad or come unplugged

wut?

p0365 is camshaft position sensor intermitent signal. to fix that id start with checking and cleaning the connection, clear the code and if it comes back put a new sensor in. but this has nothing to do with a no crank no start.

you need to find out if the starter is clicking, or if the starter relay in the fuse box your hearing. if the solenoid is clicking id check grounds and your positive cable connections. also check to see if its actually getting voltage on the start wire at the starter while trying to crank it.

So there is power at the starter and when I try and crank it there is 0.25 v on the signal wire and zero when it's in run. Could it be the ignition switch?

Update . Changed the power wire from the fuse box to the starter checked the grounds all seems fine has power to the starter until you go to crank it the the voltage drops to zero... I'm baffled

^This

I know it doesn't seem related, But i recall a thread about someone having a no start and it was telling them to check the cam sensor and it ended up being a bad crank sensor.

Sorry this post isn't much help, But if your at a dead end it wouldn't hurt to check the sensor and its wiring to rule that out as the culprit.

I stumbled on this with a quick search for you, If you read one of his Q and A he stated that he had a bad or faulty crank sensor but it didn't trigger a code. Also there is links at the bottom maybe some reading will help you determine the issue as well or narrow it down at least.

You can inspect the wiring for breaks and/or damage, And also see if all the pins are seated in the connector, Besides that I don't know if you can clean the sensor or if there is a way to test it or anything...Hopefully someone can chime in on that.

Also on a side note if this is your issue, You will need to do the crank relearn procedure. Just a heads up.

Hope this helps and keep us posted

Oh its not the crank sensor I can bump start the car I'm now leaning towards the clutch position sensor or a different gremlin because it isn't getting the 12v to the signal wire to engage the starter

I know you said it's not the crank sensor, but if you still have the P0365 then you should start by replacing the crank sensor.
