To me it sounds like the high beam wire off the switch itself is getting pinched or shorted to ground when the stalk is moved right with them on . The lighting circuit is fairly simple , I dont really see a way this could happen unless actual high beam inout to the BCM was getting interrupted . The high beam circuit doesnt merge at all with the turn signals , so I dont see how there could be a problem between the BCM and the headlamps themselves .
Though u will need wiring diagrams ....a easy way to check that would be to probe the high beam wire at the body control module and make sure you probe the high beam input ( not output ) as the high beam signal doesnt go directly to the headlights . It gets sent to the BCM first then its sent to the headlamps . The BCM is located on the lower right hand side of the center console behind that pull off panel where the fuese are .
High beam wire is purple . On the stalk on the steering column its pin D on the connector . The input on the BCM for the same purple wire is pin 4 on the BCM connector .
That info should at least send ya in the right direction for solving this . If u lose the test light when u turn the right signal on with the highs on , your problems is between the switch and the BCM . If u dont lose the test light , then I would need to think about it a lil more . Wierd problem .

Highbeams shut off when I signal right
Hello,
I have the same problem that my lights will shut off when i'm on high beam and signal right. Doesn't do it on low beam or if I siganl left.
What did they tell you the problem was?
Thanks,
Dan
