Hissing noise

Ive had this problem for about 6 months now, Ive learned to ignor it up till now but its started to bother me more then ever now. Under ecceleration moderate or heavy there is this hissiing noise that you can hear from the exhaust, Up front. You can hear it outside the car also. it sounds like its comeing from either the passanger side or right in front of you in the car. and its really really annoying sometimes its as loud or louder then the S/C
Any ideas what it migh be?.. Some people have told me its the flex pipe, But when i had this problem serviced at the dealer they put a new flex pipe on it. idk what it could be. i thought either it was still the flex pipe or i have an exhaust leak. the dealer also told me where my aftermarket exhaust meets the flex pipe its "chared" black. what will cure this problem?

tighten up header bolts, or check for cracks in piping or whatever you have under there

That's where your leak is.
I'm betting it's right at the junction of those two.

This will start out as hissing... then a few weeks later it turns into a v8 with no headers on.

Its the flex pipe seperating itself from the dp...
