Hot air coming out of a.c

Im thinking I gotta charge it

anyone had problems with this?

Probably need to charge it but you can only tell by hooking up to Test lines and seeing the levels go up and down (or for this matter have very low pressure in both). Do you know if you have a leak anywhere because that would shut the system down from working.

Aaaactually... I've had intermittent hot air from my A/C since day one.

One thing I noticed is if I moved the temp dial to one click above full cold it would start working again.

your HVAC controls might be bad. does your compressor clutch kick on when you turn the AC on. walk around the front of the car to check and look in the engine bay and see if the clutch is spinning. if it is spinning, does it keep cycling on and off? check these things. But if it blows cold under a low setting, then the HVAC contols might just have bad wiring and you can get a new one for like 30 bucks on ebay
