Hub Assembly

Over the winter I did the old slide into the curb on ice slip up. 15mph, but it was enough to do some minor damage to the wheel bearings/hub assembly. I took it to a body shop to double check the frame was OK. Frame is fine. I had a cracked pad on the brakes, but otherwise everything was generally OK. Very minor visible wheel damage. I've replaced the brakes and got an alignment. I still get some vibration and noise that varieswith road speed and shifting vehicle weight side to side. That fits hand in glove with bearing/hub assembly.

Anyway, I'm confused on what part I need. I have a 2005 Cobalt SS/SC.

GM Parts direct has these under Front Suspension->Brake Components->Hub Assy->W/abs: The initial descriptions are confusing, but when I add to cart I get this:

22715554
Front Wheel Inner Bearing
BEARING
W/4 wheel disc Back
1
$173.67

22701516
Front Wheel Inner Bearing
HUB
W/o 4 wheel disc Back
1
$114.80

From Napaonline, they seem to sell this:

Hub Assy - Front Wheel
BRG
BR930433
$239.00

Hub Assy - Front Wheel
w/o ABS Brakes BRG
BR930315
$214.00

Hub Assy - Front Wheel
w/ ABS Brakes BRG
BR930316
$239.00

I'm little confused on exactly what I need here. I thought the hub assembly/bearings was a single sealed assembly and of course I have an ABS sensor on the car.

So.. maybe 22715554 from GM and BR930316 if I got it from Napa?

I'd e-mail GMPartsDirect, but they never respond promptly and when they do, they either still don't answer the question or give some generic response. Please help with confirmation here on part number I need if you can. Thanks.

The wheel hub assembly is all you should need unless you damaged the spindle. My wheel hub assembly is actually getting replaced in the shop right now lol. My car was doing the same thing you claim yours was doing. I didn't hit anything though. It vibrates pretty loud on the highway and likes to shift to the right even with a new alignment
