Hydrolocked

Hello guys, I am new to this forum. I have a 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS/SC we had a bad storm a couple of nights ago. I couldn't see much and ended up driving through a huge puddle. My cold air intake sucked in water and hydrolocked my engine. I want to know if any of you guys here know where I can get a used block that I can rebuild for my car. What hurts the most is that I just put a new clutch kit in it along with all around shocks/struts, tie rods, and ball joints. I didn't even drive it for a week. I believe I have the 2.0L lsj engine in my car, two of the connecting rods arched and broke the cylinder walls. Thank you all in advance!

well I was going to say if you're lucky you just bent rods, but the last sentence about breaking the cylinder walls got me.

Either Mr.Belvedere or mongorat427 will more than likely have one

This is the reason I got rid of my cai. Can't drive through any water. Cai is for places with no rain

I think I will have to go that route myself after I fix it.
