IC Pump not working, Damaged supercharger?
So I just found out that my intercooler pump isn't working...I think it's been like that for a while, because the car rarely breaks loose in first gear under WOT, even with a CAI. If I get this pump replaced, am I going to see that power return? Or has driving it daily with that pump not working done permanent damage?

Don't count on the dealer replacing it! I had this issue twice now and both times the dealer wouldn't replace it for me. Order the Ford Racing pump for Cobras and Lightnings it's a direct replacement and so far has lasted long than the two previous pumps did.

funny you posted this today...I think mine is out too. Im looking at getting the ZZP pump.
When I try to go WOT the car sometimes bogs for sec some where around 3-4k while go up in revs and I've noticed this in 1st-3rd gear. Someone said that maybe my pump is out and computer is pulling timing...but IDK.
I drive an 07 SS/SC

^ i know how to swap out the pump Jeff. it's not a complete pain in the ****.
and if the pump is out, you're IAT's are probably going to be sky high (especially in mn where it's 120 heat index) and yes, you are having timing pulled.

The only problem I had when swapping out my pump was trying to get the little anti-vibration piece back on the new pump from the bracket. other than that it was pretty straight forward

plugging the little connector back in and getting the metal clip was a bit of a challenge too.
Here's a how to:
1 jack up car
2. Place jack stands under subframe
3. Get out the creeper or cardboard and take a pair of pliers (preferably channel locks) for the stock hose clamps. If you are using worm style hose clamps take a 5/16 socket and ratchet
4. have a bucket to catch the coolant as it drains out. loosen and move a hose clamp. doesn't matter which side
5. When all the coolant is drained, move the bucket and take a 13 mm sockett (I think it's 13mm) and remoce the 2 bolts in the bracket holding the IC pump
6. unplug the IC pump with a flat head screw driver for the little metal clip holding it in then remove the pump
7. Remove the anti-vibration wrap from the old IC pump and place on the new IC pump(I used some 3M temporary spray on adhesive, it would lose its tackyness after 10 minutes)
8. Here's the fun part. Try to get the IC pump back in the bracket with the anti-vibration wrap on while trying to put the other half of the bracket on with a bolt
9. Reinstall bolts on bracket and the electrical connector along with the metal clip
10. reinstall both hoses onto the IC pump and refill the system with coolant
11. Start the car and keep adding coolant as it fills the system.
12. Enjoy lower IAT2's!!
it's kind of off the top of my head and a few months old but 90% of it is there! lol
