Initial Gas Mileage

Hello, I am new to these forums.

I have recently purchased a 2006 Cobalt SS Coupe 2.4L 5spd. On the DIC, it says that my gas milage (mostly city) is 15.5 MPG. Is this normal for the first tank of gas and for the first 200 miles or so?

Any comments are welcome,

NaaN

you're going to get shitty gas mileage for the first couple hundred miles, it will go up. I would also reset the meter as suggested above, and see what happens from there.
