intermediate shaft question
i have an 07 ss and cant take the clunking anymore.whats everyone doing about this?buying new one?greasing?.its not a recall right?where can i get one if i need to buy?link?thanks

This is usually a temporary fix, but you can unbolt the steering shaft from the steering gear and move it through its range of travel a few times. This will redistribute the grease in the shaft and usually shuts it up for awhile.
The bolt at the gear should be an 11mm. I say to unbolt it from the gear because the shaft isn't keyed at the base of the column. So unless you manage to reinstall it in the exact same position, your steering wheel will be off one direction or the other.
