I've got issues
The other night my car was "overboosting". Similar symptoms of a clogged cat. The only thing is, I don't have a cat. I have a ZZP cat-less downpipe. My car is all stock other than the downpipe. Normally it runs around 12 psi. It was hitting upwards of 17 the other night. The next morning it was still hitting high boost. I didn't push it on the high boost. Just a few spikes to see how high and if it was still doing it. About 30 min into the drive, it seemed to lose power and kinda miss out. Not 5 min after that it developed a knock or loud tick. It was about a half quart low on oil and a little low on coolant. I was limping it home and it died once and when starting from a dead stop it had some metal-on-metal noise. Any ideas on what could be wrong? The noise sounds like it's up in the head.

I"m not real sure.
Maybe it was something in the transmition or clutch causeing the problems.
1/2 a quart low on oil isnt going to hurt your engine. As long as your between
Low and Full or Add and Full, your okay. Maybe you have a dragging brake.
A Dragging brake, and or dragging transmition can cause your engine to work harder to maintain speed, which will result in a higher then normal indication on your boost gauge.

I think my e-brake has been sticking. Would that cause higher boost levels?
