Key is stuck
Odd scenario. Today, my key got stuck in the ignition. It refuses to turn to the Off position (only turns as far as Accessory) so I can't take it out, almost like it thinks im in gear or in neutral instead of Park. Anyone have any ideas? Ive been leaving my key in the ignition all day, not something I want to continue doing.
BTW, i did all the basics, putting it back in gear, then back in park, turning the wheel, etc.)

This happened to mine and lennyg's car. It happened to me a couple years ago I took it to the dealership and they said there was some security thing that had to do with the transmission that takes a **** and a wont let your key out idk...so they told me it was on recall and they fixed it. I told lennyg the same thing and his dealership wouldnt do it for free and heard nothing of this so called recall but in the end they did it for free for him! but I think the part was $300.

If you still have the bumper to bumper warranty, you should have no problem getting this replaced. Even if you are past warranty, you might be able to get them to good will it as this is a known issue.

haha definitely not. we've had too much bonding time... probably a combined 75+ hours under the hood and then all the time enjoying it. Shes been good to me...especially given that that motor wasnt made to handle the power i give it.
EDIT: how-to completed. Just waiting for them to approve it
