I need a new keyless remote. Where can I get 1 for cheap. And how do I program it? Do I have to take it to chevy?

I know you can get them at the stealership for around 70 bucks, dont know about anywhere else to get them. As for getting it programmed, yes the stealership has to do that for ya too.

Check locksmiths and auto alarm and stereo shops. Some sell factory remotes and keys and can program them for you. Stop not cheap but better than going to GM. There are a few locksmiths that specialize in autos.

Get one off EBay. Just make sure it has the same # on the back of the remote.

A dealer or someone with a Tech2 machine has to program it. Cost me $50 to have my remotes programmed. Also you have to do them all at once.
