Last GM?????
I own a 2005 SS?SC and love it, but, I do thnk this will be the first and last GM I buy. I had Honda's previously, and I never had a single issue with any of them. Now I am not planning on going back to a Honda, but is it cause I bought a first gen that all these little things are going wrong? Like emblems breaking my shift knob needing to be replaced. The moon roof button to be replaced. And now when I shift hard into 2nd and 4th, it feels like something breaks inside. Now don't get me wrong I am keeping my car for along time, knock on wood, but the little problems are starting to **** me off. This will be my last GM most likly but I was wondering if other people out there feel the same way.

Half that stuff is user error IMO...
hehe
As long as it starts and gets my from point A to point B in a fasts fun manor I am happy, I have the 06, so I may be lucky to have many of the smaller problems resolved. Sorry to hear that man, I came from my sentra SE-R and my cobalt SS is loads better in every aspect IMO.

Nope, I'll always stick with GM. I'm on my 3rd GM car right now and I'm not planning on going anywhere. I have had more "glitches" with this car, along the lines of what you mentioned, but to me they're first gen bugs, I've never had anything like this happen in any of my other GM cars.

I understand where your coming from being a prevoius honda owner but like everyone said, its a new car and like so many new platforms theres bound to be problems! Honda, Ford and Dodge went through the same rebirth.. Hehe **** when i first bought my Chevy the muffler was shot before it went of the lot...its all good...

Is anyone else's fan squeaking when the heater's on? It's really annoying because it's only when the fan is on the lower settings. I'm wondering if something just needs some WD40 or something, but it's the one and only problem on my car and it's starting to **** me off.

I figured it was because it was a 1st gen. Once the stage 2 comes out andI do more mods I will forget I even wrote this thead. Thanks guys.

I almost got a new M3 or a used M coupe but I already have 2 seater car and BMWs are too expensive to repair. The M coupse are sooooo badass though performence wise.

Well this is my 3rd GM and I love it so far. Most of my problems where just things I did not know about. Like the wipers changing with speed and that kind of stuff. Though I do have the random idle thing that so many have complaind about but my car has only 800 miles on itand it has not done it in the last 200 or so. So I will have to wait and see if it gos away after 1000 miles.
