i cant say for GM, but for chrysler products, you can buy just pigtails to soder back in place with that socket.

You dont need a socket, sockets are for NOOBS!!!. Just get some wiring, some electric tape, and just duct tape the thing in there, as long as its in there its good!!!

(By now I hope you realize im joking. Maybe you can use some needlenose pliers to get the rest out, if not go to a junkyard and rip one off of a car

UPDATE** GOT IT FIXED. I took the car to a small repair shop and the guy looked at my car for 5 sec and than got a flathead screw driver and just popped out the rest of the light that was stuck in the socket lol I had no idea...i though i got the whole light out. o well i learned something and thats whats it all about.
