Wow....the maturity on this site sure is showing itself today. *cough* bulls**t *cough*
Honestly people, do we really have to show what dumbasses some of us are? He could easily make a story now how he went onto this site and got nothing but attitude from the people on the site. Sure would help us out wouldn't it?
If you do not like the story or don't agree with it, STOP POSTING in this thread. Pretty simple if you ask me.

GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform these technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, DO NOT assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See your GM dealer for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.

It's just an informational bulletin telling technicians HOW to repair the problem IF it happens to exist, a customer would know if their fuel gauge wasn't operating properly. GM puts out bulletins to be sure the technicians don't replace parts that don't need to be replaced in an effort to keep costs down. If people go snooping around and costing GM money the costs will just get passed on to us, the consumers.

Found a local owner who is interested in being a part of our story. She's got her Cobalt up for sale...found it in AutoTrader. We are working with Serra Chevrolet in Bartlett, Tennessee, to arrange the inspection. Thanks to you other Cobalt owners and enthusiasts who have been encouraging in our effort here!
If something should fall through with this owner, I will let you know in this thread.
Again, thanks! Andy Wise, WMC TV Action News 5, NBC Memphis.
