ls4 throttle body codes

Mechanically, I've had an issue with nearly every system on the car this week. But that's beside the point.

This is what I ran into today after getting an oil change and driving from the shop to the highway onramp. I wasn't pushing the car too hard but accelerating to merge into traffic.

Shifted from 3rd to 4th and the car went into reduced power then into engine disabled mode.

P0120 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 1 Circuit -PCM
P0122 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 1 Circuit Low Voltage -PCM
P0123 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 1 Circuit High Voltage -PCM
P0223 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 2 Circuit High Voltage -PCM
P2101 Throttle Actuator Position Performance -PCM
P2119 Throttle Closed Position Performance -PCM
P2135 Throttle Position (TP) Sensor 1-2 Correlation -PCM

I cleared the codes and p0223 remained. I had to walk away to cool off at this point.

After searching the forum I see a few solutions but nothing that explains why this code remains.
Does anyone have any ideas? Fried TPS? New Throttle Body? I really don’t want to be spending 300+ for a new one from Napa. I cleaned the throttle body less than 6 weeks ago. (needing to too often in my opinion)

and just because I don't know how to edit my sig- '06 lsj zzp stage 3, 60# injectors, ls4 tb with ported sc inlet, etc...

1st things first, what kind of a tune are you running ?

is it a canned ZZP tune ? and does it incorporate the fact that you have the LS4 TB ?

I had it dyno tuned at zzp over a year ago and it has been running fine since then. Although I recently put a new cat and resonator on the exhaust.

with the ls4 on it at the time ?

did this problem just come out of no where or has the car always been an issue with the ls4 tb ?

It was tuned for the ls4. This issue really came out of nowhere other than having to clean it out every 3 months.

i dont know how you are financially but you can always pick up another one and swap them out and see if its the tb or not.

if your paying $300 from NAPA then your doing it all wrong. if i recall correctly there the tb off the impalla SS and rock auto has them on their site.

zzp even has them they may have a used one but $300 is redic.

Looks like the turds at shop bumped the TB plug when unscrewing the oil filter... Problem solved. Disaster averted.
