LSJ Boost Problem... maybe.

LSJ Boost Problem... maybe.
I think I have a problem. Mods:
Fujita CAI - Stg2 - 2.8" pulley - GMPP Header - ZZP 2.5" catless DP - GMPP Performance Cat-Back - Wicked Tune
I installed my ZZP CATLESS DP and I'm still hitting 17.5psi, and almost instantly too. I noticed it today when I shifted to 4th, it went straight to the 17.5psi line. It worries me... I wouldn't think I should still be hitting that much boost with a catless dp. I wonder if its just the cold air combined with the very slight Port & Polish I gave my TB.
I think it is my Intercooler. Ever since my IC Pump failed in October... I've been hitting 17.5psi... on the dot. Before the IC Pump failed, I had a C/A 2.5" DP with an empty cat... and I would only hit like 16 or so PSI... never 17.5... BUT my local dealership is full of idiots... so I don't think they would be able to figure it out. I ran that blown IC Pump for a Month because they didn't think that was the problem... even after I told them that it was. They warrantied my EMPTY CAT, AFTERMARKET DP with a stock replacement because they thought the problem was that it was clogged, causing too much back pressure... which made the coolant shoot out of the IC Overflow... Right.
And ever since the pump went... I have been hitting 17.5.
SO do you guys have any suggestions? DO you think that the excessive heat from having no IC pump might have screwed up the Laminova's in some way? Causing extra boost?
Anybody? Anybody? Anybody?

Like I said... I would think that the Catless DP would drop the boost big time... its just physics... or some other science/math .

I got your PM.
I'm not sure that it's the IC that's causing the boost to peak higher. If they were damaged, your IAT2's would be thought the roof, and you would have next to no power, cause the car would be pulling timing like crazy.
It could possibly be the fluctuation in air temps (I know I see weird stuff in the spring).
The P&P on the TB could play a small factor as well, as it decreases the likelihood of hitting abs. vac. in the TB.... but I can't see it accounting for 1.5psi.
If you have HPT, maybe throw up a few scans, and see if we can get a better feel for the problem.

How many miles are on your car? I cleaned my TB at 18,000 miles and it wasn't nearly that bad. Not that it has anything to do with your boosting issue but your crankcase pressure might be high.... blowing oil from the breather into the intake? It looks like it's time for a catch can.

The CAI was nasty too... but it was like solid mud in there... opposed to the oil like substance on the TB.
I haven't had my Dipstick pop out... but when I looked at it today... I noticed that there was oil ALL the way up my dipstick... like it had been shot up it.
It did run like ***** today... and was acting F'ing weird... I'll start a new thread... but I'll post the video here too:

It did this the entire time I had the car on. I turned the car off... checked all fuses and PCM/ECU connections... then started it up 15 minutes later and it ran fine... just sluggish as all hell (maybe because of the heat... but this was BIG time sluggish, like "I don't think I can beat that stock Civic Si right now" sluggish.) So I went to a store. Car off... went in. Came out... started it up... and it did that gauge **** again!
Turn it off & restart it 3 times and finally it was fine... only now when I punched it... it like hesitated for 3 seconds and then BAM! wot... and it actually pulled hard.
Blah Blah Blah. Its pissing me off. I go to work, come home... and its doing the gauge **** again, as soon as I pulled into the driveway. **** that car.
