LSJ Timing Chain/Water Pump

Hey guys I am currently in the middle of my LSJ build and had a few questions. The car has 90K on it and as of right now I have literally been going through the whole car replacing everything. Some of the main things I have done are coil overs, powell cabs, powell rear sway, powergrid end links, full exhuast, powell rotated mounts, heat exchanger, gm dual pass/option b, and gm stage 3 kit.

I have not touched anything internally on my car at this time and was wondering if I should replace the water pumo and timing chain/tensioner etc (I have a brand new timing chain kit btw). Up until now I have done everything mechanically on my car but I feel as though the timing chain and water pump exceed my mechanic abilities. Do you guys think these parts need to be replaced?

Tensioner absolutely, the timing kit is up to you. The water pump, IMO I've never seen one fail, so I would leave it at the risk of causing more harm than good by messing with it.

The chains don't usually "fail" on the SS/SC.

Its the tensioner and the guides that usually go.
