Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

MAP sensor ? issues ..

Ok so the car is a 2006 sc/ss payed 1000$ for the car with a blown motor just got the motor back from the machine shop. Ive put it back together now aswell as i could it was already torn apart when i bought it im woundering if the map sensor that isnt attached to the supercharger if its supposed to have a hose to it or just. Sit atmospheric ?

Do you mean the barometric pressure sensor with the orange rubber on it? If so, no nothing attaches to it.

There should be one on the blower inlet and one on end of the head over the transmission, on a little bracket. Both are the same sensor, the one on the engine is left open to atmosphere, yes. Make sure the plugs aren't mixed up though, as the car looks for vacuum on one.
