MY driver side tire is rubbing

So recently my drivers side tire started to rub all the time going down the road so i took the tire off and i find what its rubbing on its rubbing on a piece of the splash guard the splash guard is not sagging or any thing and only rubs on the drivers side i have owned this car for about 3 years and its never done this its not lowered or anything so what could cause my tire to suddenly make it rub my splash guard?

either you are running in a lot of potholes or you may need to look at your shocks or struts... maybe worn out. I'm curious to see if this is the problem.

I agree, i would think that suspension would be what is causing ur rubbing

Ive got 90k+ and I've hit plenty of potholes no sagging suspension I would assume this is not an issue unless those actually are aftermarket Springs I would think that the plastic is actually dropped down but looks like its in place
What size tires are on the car
Can you get a picture of the area where its rubbing

Tire size is stock I do believe I have had these tires for 2 years and have and no issue with rubbing untill now I tried to push the splash guard to see if it would move back any further but its as far back as it will go as for the spot it was rubbing I cut it out it was annoying it had already rubbed a decent size hole in the splash guard

I bought my car with a chunk cut out of the drivers side front wheel well right behind the airbox. Makes me wonder if the original owner had this problem too

are you sure your front coil spring didn't break? Does your frontend rebound when you push on it?
