mysterious leak
I found this after detailing my car. This was not a result of me washing the car. The puddle was on drivers side rear only. We had alot of rain in the past couple of days and the car has not been moved. Everything was dry besides the drivers rear floorboard. I have a sun roof but it was dry. Any ideas. Oh and all the windows were up....any tsb's on this? Has anyone had this happen to them? Here are some pics......
Thanks for any suggestions

i have yet to hear of this but it occurs to me that if nothing above the puddle is wet i.e. sunroof, window mouldings ect.. and the vehicle has not moved that means it could not have been kicked up from underneath or have come from above. then it seems more likely that it got there accidentily while washing the car. now if we were talking about the front seats this would be a different story. plus the pics did not work for me

I've washed the 'balt many times and this is the first for me too. My car was parked slightly on an incline where the drivers side was alittle higher than the passenger side. We have had some pretty bad storms in two days. Rain was in buckets, constant downpour. Their is a leak somewhere, water just doesnt appear out of nowhere, its just wierd that I couldnt find any leaks. Water was under driver seat and the way the car was leaning it moved to the rear and stayed. About 3/4 of an inch of standing water. Car is going in shop tomorrow.

Might be the drain hose for the sunroof is leaking.
Maybe you the window or sunroof weather stripping is faulty .Spray the hose on it and see if you can make it happen.
