Yea the fans are just on for a bit to cool down the engine a bit before it sits and heat soaks from not being vented or coolant ran through it due to the car being off..
Here's something to look at/look forward to replacing if still stock
Suspension:
Crappy sway bar end links causing rattle in the steering wheel at slow speeds over bumps
Crappy control arm vertical bushing causing sway arm to rock making a clunk on acceleration or slowing down
Drivetrain:
Probably new clutch if it's still on the stocker, check for slipping while getting on it in higher RPMs when test driving
Appearance:
Paint at the bottom of doors chipping due to constant rubbing against the rubber door seal for years.
Maintenance:
Flush coolant if still stock
Flush brake fluid + bleed brakes and clutch if the fluid still stock
S/C Oil
Engine Oil
Check rotors and pads all around
Check under the body for rust
Check axle boots for tears/grease coming out
Check engine visually for oil coming out of the sides (gasket areas)
Other than that, car should be pretty solid, obviously I can't list all the possible problems but from having two cobalts those are just some things to look at and inspect while purchasing.

Ok well I got bad news and need advice... So I ran a carfax on it and it turned out to have a branded tittle... Which is says was a manufacture buyback or lemon.. At the 30,000 miles clutch slave cyclinder was replaced and was factory maintained up to that. I got him down 5500 (runs and drives great tested clutch and was good). So I am wondering what I should do? I like the car, all miles have been pretty much highway miles (1st owner 15 a year) and next was 20k a year.. So what are your guys thought?

I'd dig a little deeper into why it was bought back. If you are serious about buying it maybe pay a little bit and have a mechanic check it out. Few dollars now could confirm its clean and a good buy or save you $5500 on a broken pos.

The guy that has it know bought it from a big car dealer at 66k (2 years ago) so you would think they would made sure all the problems where fixed so it didnt come back on them. Right?

Not sure how this affected the SS's but I know my 07 LS had recalls for the fuel pump and power steering motor. So just make sure those are taken care of. Dealer will replace under the recall.
I imagine if the guy has owned it for 2 years and put 50K on it, that they worked out the issues but definitely check it out. Well worth the money to have someone qualified look at it than to buy it and regret it.

So I got ahold of the dealership that gave the car the branded tittle but they would not release the info to me since I was not the owner so I to have the owner call (ill make sure to be with him) to see whats up and then if that turns out ok the local mechanic wants 25 dollars to check everything over.

So I got good new sorta.. I talked to the dealer that gave it the manufacture buy back and they told the reason for this was because the the guy that had it put big injectors in it and these injector keep making his clutch slip at higher rpms so they guy said there was nothing wrong with this car before the guy put the injector in. So do many people just sometimes put injectors? Would that really make a big enough difference to make the stock clutch keep failing? He also faxed me the whole service records so I will be able to look at everything else but I had them sent to my dads work so I have to wait till he get home to tell you guys about them. Ik is a mass airflow sensor. Ill keep you guys posted
