try replacing the fuse anyways and see if that makes a difference. not much you can really screw up with a fuel filter change. did you clean off the axle and everything else that got sprayed with fuel when you finished.

when you did your fuel filter, did you remove the fuel pump relay and run the car til it ran outa gas? that depressurizes the system, then you can get to the filter without pissing a ton of gas, though some will still come out a bit. pop a new filter in, replace the fuse, turn the key to start... you'll hear the pump turn on, turn the key off. turn it back to run, let it pressurize, check for leaks, should turn on no problems.
definately check that fuse, perhaps it is blown. i havent replace the fuel filter on our cars yet, does it have just 1 inlet and 1 outlet? if so it is possible you hooked it up backwards, a kid in my auto class did that, oops. post back after you check the fuse and filter.

yeah the filter has two out and 1 in, on the two prong side ones bigger than the other so no way to mix them up, on the one side you HAVE to use the quick disconect tool or it wont come out, so no way possible to mix the side up,. new day gonna try it again,. if it comes to it im gonna get a new fuse then try it but i dont think that the fuse is the problem.
i fixed it end thread
