Need help Lsj won't start
Alright guys. I need help. If this current idea doesn't work. I bought the car from a guy who rebuilt the engine. Gave me a new pcm and I had it flashed from a guy with a tech 2. It started and ran that day. Since then been a pain. Code was the crank is not learned. I never had it running long enough to relearn the ckp. Since I moved it to a garage I've had it running twice. And it's only with the old fuse box because I bought a new one after taking the old one apart and seeing that the motherboard was burnt in a couple spots. With the old fuse box I have to wiggle the crank relay to get it to make contact and crank. I'm wondering if the crank sensor is not reading properly or if it just needs to be relearned once I somehow get it started. It gets fuel it gets spark. There's coolant in it. Any suggestions? 06 cobalt ss sc Lsj. Thanks in advance.

I was just reading through the forums a bit. Could the bcm cause this problem? Cause it wIll keep cranking as long as you want it to. And it's started 3 times total and it runs fine when it does start.

No the security light isn't on anymore. When I first got the car it was but that went away when the new pcm was put in and flashed. And no there are no other codes. I can check again with the solus but that's the only code it comes up with

Okay I have an update. With the old fuse box I can get her to start. Had her running for about 15-20 minutes and tried to do the crank relearn. It didn't work and eventually she started overheating. She started right up after that still with the old fuse box. After that I swapped over to the new one and she won't start with the new fuse box

If anything is missing fuses or relays it's the old fuse box. The new one has everything in it when I bought it including all the new fuses and relays. I also know I tightened the new fuse box down all the way as I have swapped them over multiple times whilst trying to find out as to why the old one won't work correctly. Also with either fuse box the security light doesn't come on. I feel like I should mention that the pcm was programmed with the old fuse box of that makes a difference. And with the old fuse box to start it I have to wiggle the crank relay and the coil harness so it starts. That's why I bought a new fuse box was because there's a break in the board on the old one and I found that out when my buddy and I took it apart. I feel like the coil harness could be an issue but that makes no sense how it would only cause it to not start occasionally but when it starts she purrs like a kitten and doesn't misfire at all
