New Cobalt
Just got my new cobalt a week ago & its in the shop already.Something happend to the key switch,it would not turn off.Now they say they have a recall on that problem.Has anyone else had this to happen?It's a week later & still no car

Sorry to hear you are having problems. Your problem is not a recall. if you will pm me your vin# I can look on gm vis system and see if you have any open recalls but I could not find any recalls for this problem, I did find a service bulletin that covers a problem with the ignition unable to rotate off related to shifter button sticking or micro-switches in shifter mech. I would venture to say your dealer is having trouble getting parts to repair it since all the union member buy outs have stalled alot of our parts delivery routes. Hopefully you will get it back soon.
