Exclamation Odd Front End Noise

I'm pretty sure I have the infamous front end noise that most of you have when you hit a bump, or.......in my case.........when you lightly increase throttle. I didn't know how to describe it so I went to my dealership today (they're REALLY cool about aftermarket parts) and took the service manager for a ride so he could hear the noise for himself. I didn't want a "unable to duplicate concern."

When he gets out of my car, the first thing he does it see how many fingers he can stick in my fender gaps

He tells me he'll call me when they know what the problem is. I'm honestly expecting to have to pay to have the problem fixed because of the sportline's but, my dealer has suprised me with how much they'll cover under warrenty work before........................so we'll see shortly.

The car went in at 9. It's now 10:20. The wait is on..................I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Any Thoughts?

I was having a similar problem and the nut on the link was unscrewing itself... tightened it and now its fine.. scares me that there is not a castle nut on there with a bent cotter pin for safety.

When my 2.2 did that (under the same circumstances) it was lower control arm bushings...twice.

ok folks.....................I got the car back................the service advisor I talked to this morning had left for the day and the service tech went to lunch. They told me they special ordered a part UNDER WARRENTY and that it would come in 3-4 days. All the information I have from the reciept right now is this:

Problem Description (as entered by the service manager):

CHECK CLANKING NOISE FROM RIGHT FRONT SUSPENSION
SLOW SPEEDS WHEN ACCELERATING
PART(S) HAVE BEEN SPECIAL ORDERED

PART #
DESCRIPTION

25827846 MOUNT

I tried to look up what that mount was but I can't find anymore info that what I already have. Help would be appreciated? Thanks
