I just went back through my last datalog with low 80 ambient and it would stay between 4-10 above ambient once I got above 40mph even with hard pulls, but once I come to a stop I saw it get close to 25 above, lol...

I'm thinking the spacer may actual buy me a little more space above the filter cap. That may make it worth it more than anything.

That's what I was thinking, as well. Might be able to use an extension then.

I can't remember what my temps would be at when idling, but I remember that didn't get too high... and they dropped like a rock once I open the TB. I don't have a computer with Windows right now, so I can't check.

Once I get my Pro Cable, I guess I'm going to have to get another Netbook or something. I guess I could always just convert mine back to W7. So much trouble though.

The other day outside temp was in the 70s and my iat2 went up to 105* while sitting at a light

get an extension and a GM oil filter socket from auto part store, might seem like its gonna be at a bad angle but it wont once u have the socket on the filter cap. takes me a minute or 2 to get the filter out of there lol

When you're just sitting still, that's normal. There isn't much air flowing through there at all, so the IAT2's are going to heat up.

You aren't on the same intake manifold though... not even close, actually.
