oil change equipment
I will start changing my own oil at home now. Just gathering all the equipment needed. Anyhow, I want to get some auto service ramps. The kind you drive up on and they lift the car. My question is when I engage the parking brake on my 06 cobalt ss/sc will this be enough to prevent rolling. Or should I get some stop ***** for the back wheels. Or get four auto ramps and just lift the entire car off the ground?

Should be plenty good enough I change my oil all the time with 2 ramps, and setting the P-brake just be on level ground. The ramp have a Flat plain own top though that car rests at.

yeah i don't trust the e brake, so i put blocks behind the wheels when on the ramps, just don't forget that 10 inch extension for the filter, i had all the oil drained and my friend borrowed my only extension that long........and my sis borrowed my other car, so i proceeded to drink till the friend brought the extension 2 hours later
