Oil in spark plug well

Okay, so lately I've noticed my car has been lacking power quite a bit, so I decided to change my spark plugs and see if it would make a difference. While doing the swap, I notice a pool of oil in the 3rd spark plug well. So I'm guessing this is causing my engine to miss fire ect...
I was just wondering if there was an easy fix for this? I swear my car has been a problem since I bought it. Do you think hanging the oil to a high mileage oil could help maybe harden the seals or something? Or did this happen to anyone else? What did you do?
