overheating
so i noticed my coolant in my ss/sc is not at 180F as it should be ALL the time.
I kept an eye on it cause lately its been 180-190 and last night it even hit 203F at idle.
I figured its overheating and my supercharger belt sounds like its ripping...any ideas?
is all this covered under warranty?

I stay in Virginia and my average temps are around 185 so I don't think you have a problem. That is along with my stage 2. If you are idling in traffic down there then it shouldn't be an issue then either. Not to be an ass, but have you checked your coolant level to make sure it is where it needs to be? Doesn't sound like a thermostat issue because of the minor change in temp.

well i mean i live in florida and it never happened and it was always at 180 and 190 was the max and just last night it went to 203F.
its still the same temp...hot as hell in this state. still normal? and the car seems to shake a bit when idling and i think its the supercharger. and ideas on that?
AC in my car is ALWAYS on lolz so i guess that fan is always on. should i put more coolant in the car?

this is one of the most over-posted topics. you are absolutely NOT overheating. overheating is over 250. anything under that is considered normal.
and also just so you know that car doesn't always have to run at 180. mine usually runs at 180 also. but things like traffic, lots of stop and go, leaving the car running while running in to the store or something, all those things will raise the temp. once you start moving again it should go back down thouhg. but totally nothing to worry about. don't take it to the dealer or mechanic.

its normal. ive asked countless techs about our engines and running temps. they said unless you see around 230 or more all the time and a cel comes on then be worried and bring into the dealer.

It is perfectly normal. Our cars are "aero dependant" when it comes to the cooling system. The depend on moving air to keep the water cool becuase the cooling fan will not activate unil the water temps hit about 225. Don't worry about it. As stated earlier, just turn on your ac fan to bring a little extra air in and you will be fine. My average temps while driving regardles of ambient air temperature are between 180-185. When I stop and have my ac fan off, it will skyrocket pretty quick.
