if you take off the little access panel on the timing cover....you will be able to see the water pump gear. Take the cover off (4 bolts) then run the car and see if the pump is turning.
are you sure you got all the air out of the system?

If you start the vehicle up.....let it run, sometimes it helps to raise the rpm up to about 2500 and hold it there until the thermostat opens. The coolant level should drop if there are any air bubbles stuck in the system. Top the coolant level off and you should be good after that.......that is unless there is another issue going on, like the water pump not turning.

the thermostat, take it out again, and make SURE
the thermostat goes in FIRST
THEN
the black sleeve, and make sure that sleve lines up with the port for coolant to flow into the heater core.

There is a drain plug at the bottom pf the water pump
Remove rhe bolt with the car off
Coolant should come out
Now start the car and remove the drain plug,
Coolant will rush out of that hole with some force
Check it before

Ok so cfirst question...does the thermostat go in the top or bottom housing...not understanding what the "black sleeve" is...there are black hoses...also..is the water pump on the same side as the thermostat...does it go into the water pump...I can't reach anything n wanna get a few answers before I start taking everything apart
