P0300-04 code. Really bad please help
Hey everyone new here posted another thread and got treated like a retard for asking a question but anyway I have a 08 cobalt ss with some tune not sure what but its set at 20psi and got injen hot and cold charge pipes. It idols really rough like its its going to stall and sounds like its missing real bad. The lights flicker and everything. I changed the spark plugs out for e3s and it went away now it's back and worst then ever. It also sounds like popcorn under wot and that's when the codes come on. You can hear it missing on idol and under light throtal bit its really bad just at idol and wot

E3s spark plugs? Never heard of those but I do know the lnf loves the stock plugs and it seems you have a misfire on every cylinder, did you gap them correctly?

Go back to the ACDelco plugs. Pick up one coil on plug and replace a cylinder, if the misfire on that cylinder disappears then your coil on plugs are bad and you need 3 more. If it stays there then you need to look at the intake ports of the head and see if they're super gunked/coked up.
Also have you had your battery tested or replaced recently?

Hey
Idk well see if it does I'm gonna be talking to the owner and I even took it to a tuning shop hear where I live they said its a **** tune and only way to figure out why it is misfiring is to reflash it back to stock then fix problem and then a retune

If the tuning shop doesn't know DI engines they'll think its a **** tune even if it's a good one. No tune is going to suddenly go back, sorry it doesn't work that way. There is something mechanically wrong (i'm including ignition components in this) or a sensor is shot.
Did you try getting a new coil on plug to see if one cylinder stops mis-firing?
Also your location of York, are you meaning New York State or some town called York?

Yup I'd start with flash to stock, u never know what kinda tune is in there. And please put stock plugs back in, all new ones, gapped to .032 this car is very picky about the plugs u use, stock ones have been proven to work the best.
